It has been nine months since the government shutdown of 2013 began and Sibley Hospital in Washington, D.C. has reported seeing an average of three more births per day over last year. Brian Williams, on tonight’s NBC Nightly News, had something to say about it.
“How long until someone on television points out that during the shutdown the folks in Washington [were] apparently doing at home what Washington has been accused of doing to the American people? We’re guessing someone will say that on television before long,” Williams said.
Well done, Brian. Well done!
