Save Our Seaport organizers hold their banner in front of the Peking at the South Street Seaport – May 5, 2014

The Landmarks Preservation Commission has already rejected the Howard Hughes Corporation’s plan for the Fulton Market Building, but that was only part of the company’s plan for the South Street Seaport.

On Monday, a group called Save Our Seaport held the second in a series of town meetings to discuss the plans that they say threaten the historic character of the seaport. Read my full story here.
