On Tuesday, I covered the Landmarks Preservation for Curbed NY and when it was time for the architectural firm BKSK to present their plan to put a two-story, mixed use, glass addition on top of 9-19 Ninth Avenue (better known as the Pastis building), the room was packed. That’s usually not a good sign.
It turned out that was the case on Tuesday. The LPC rejected the plan. Read more about it in my story here.
