Audi Super Bowl Commercial Features George Washington Bridge

There were a lot of commercials during Super Bowl XLV that made me laugh, or made me say “That’s stupid,” but one commercial made me point at the TV and look at my dad and say “Did you see that?!?”

This commercial was for the Audi A8 and featured a short shot at the end of car driving away from the George Washington Bridge, just minutes from my home! Watch the commercial (pay attention at 0:51) and then scroll down for more.

The shot was taken on the road that connects the Ross Dock picnic area and the Hazard’s Ramp boat launch. This road goes right under the George Washington Bridge in the Palisades Interstate Park in Fort Lee, New Jersey. If you’ve never been there, it’s a really neat park. Here is a map showing where the shot was taken (see my blue highlight) and then a photograph I took on May 15, 2010 just a bit north of that.

Here is my absolute favorite ad from this year’s Super Bowl – Volkswagen “The Force”

Here are some of my other favorites.

I may add more videos to this entry.
